Substitute Teacher Assistant

Teach up to twenty children daily, greeting them upon arrival and performing spot health checks. Assist the pre-K teacher with writing weekly lesson plans for STREAMin3, Heggerty, and HCS Language Arts, while maintaining classroom supply inventory and submitting monthly reports on activities, themes, and field trips to the Program Analyst. Support individualized service plans for fine motor, gross motor, visual perceptual, self-help, language, and cognitive skills, and conduct at least two conferences per child with accurate documentation. Maintain confidential caseload files and accurate class roles, including parent contact and emergency information. Actively involve parents in classroom activities and attend relevant training workshops.
