Job Summary
Facilitate day-to-day operations of the childcare center or assist teachers with daily activities under the Director's supervision. Monitor and ensure safety and program guidelines while providing a positive environment for children aged 0-5. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, complete DRDP assessments, and communicate with parents as needed. Work Monday through Friday in a play-based, family-centered program. Apply must include DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance and eight hours of preventative health and safety training.
Required Qualifications
- Six (6) completed units of early childhood education
- enrolled in at least 2 semester units at a college until fully qualified
- possess a teaching credential
- Title 22 Regulations
- Current principles and practices of early childhood education in a play-based, family centered program
- Family inclusion and education
- Completing observations related to the DRDP
- DOJ and FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Eight (8) hours of Preventative Health and Safety Training within three (3) months of hire
