Job Summary
Assist the teacher with instructional and non-instructional tasks while supporting students with classwork, organization, and transitions. Help supervise students in the classroom, specials, hallway, lunchroom, or playground, and provide one-on-one or small group support as needed. Maintain a respectful and safe classroom environment under the supervision of the classroom teacher and/or school administration. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with previous experience working with children preferred. Candidates must meet Chautauqua County Civil Service requirements and demonstrate patience, reliability, and a positive attitude.
