Substitute Teacher 2026-2027

Provide instruction as a Substitute Teacher by translating lesson plans into engaging classroom experiences, maintain established routines, and supervise pupil behavior during class, lunch, and recess. Collaborate with the building principal, assistant principal, and team leaders when initiating procedures beyond lesson plans, follow school policies and procedures, and support learning objectives. Duties include reviewing plans, ensuring orderly classroom routines, assigning and grading work as needed, and performing related duties such as outside/inclement-weather activities. Physical demands include standing, walking, squatting, and lifting up to 10 pounds; may involve outdoor duties. Must be able to work in Piedmont, Oklahoma school environment.
