Substitute Teacher 2026-2027

Instruct classes and assume all instructional responsibilities for absent teachers, including preparing lesson plans with administrator assistance when necessary. Provide individualized and small group assistance to students as outlined in lesson plans while maintaining appropriate records such as test papers, grades, and assignments. Aids immediate administration of first aid and medical assistance as instructed, assists with implementing student daily schedules and behavior plans, and guides classroom activities under supervising teacher direction. Monitor students individually or in small groups during assigned periods across various school environments to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. Communicate with supervising staff, parents, and other personnel to assist in data collection, evaluate progress, and implement educational objectives. Report incidents relating to specific students, including health concerns or safety conditions, to appropriate administrative personnel.
