Job Summary
Provide support to K-6 students with autism spectrum disorders and emotional-behavioral disorders in a Setting IV special education program. Assist with classroom routines, academics, behavior support, and help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily learning, stepping in as needed to maintain continuity of care and support when regular staff are absent.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 60+ postsecondary credits
- Associate's degree
- Passing score on Paraeducator or ParaPro exam
