Job Summary
Substitute role for Special Education Aide in Clear Creek ISD. Primary duties include assisting teachers with preparation and management of classroom activities, supporting students receiving Special Education Services, and collaborating with staff. Responsibilities cover instructional support in various settings (small groups or one-on-one), implementing behavior management aligned with IEPs, supervising students throughout the school day, collecting data, modifying and maintaining instructional materials, and assisting with personal care tasks as needed after district training. Requires fingerprinting/background check, orientation, and a valid high school diploma or GED. Location: League City, Texas. Strong emphasis on English communication, patient and flexible demeanor, and ability to maintain confidentiality while working with students of all disability categories.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships
- Patience, tolerance, and flexibility

- Ability to work with children of all disability categories
- Three qualified work-related references with email addresses (one from a supervisor)

- Attend orientations monthly starting June

- Acceptable criminal history for employment with Clear Creek ISD
- Support and assist teacher and staff in instructional activities
- Assist in supervising students

- Maintain student confidentiality
- Meet task deadlines
- Cooperate with co-workers and supervisors
- Perform other related duties as required
