Job Summary
Substitute School Nurse position within Hardy County Schools (Countywide - Hardy County, WV); requires WV nursing credentials and school-nursing-specific training. The role demands RN licensure by the WV Board of Examiners, WV professional school nursing certifications, an Associate’s Degree in nursing with a 2.0 GPA minimum, completion of the eLearning course "Introduction to School Nursing", and successful completion of all county and WVDE trainings. Required Qualifications
- West Virginia Professional Student Support Certificate
- West Virginia Nurse Certificate or Temporary Nurse Certificate or West Virginia Nursing Substitute Permit
- A minimum Associate's Degree in nursing with a minimum 2.0 GPA
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure issued by the West Virginia Board of Examiners
- Completion of the eLearining course: "Introduction to School Nursing"
- Completion of all required county and WVDE trainings
- Ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations
