Job Summary
Assess and treat student illnesses and injuries, administer prescribed medications, and monitor medical treatments. Maintain accurate health records and documentation while communicating with parents and staff regarding student health concerns. Support health screenings and emergency response procedures in compliance with district policies and state health regulations. Promote a healthy school environment for students and staff. Valid New York State RN or LPN license required, with school nursing or pediatric experience preferred. Current CPR/First Aid certification and strong clinical skills necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Professional Nurse (LPN) license
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
