Job Summary
Assist building principals in minimizing student absences and maintaining a healthy school climate by administering first aid and assuming care authority for injured students or staff when physicians are unavailable. Provide immediate medical support in accordance with established procedures during emergency situations. This is a substitute position with hours scheduled as needed, paid at a 2026-27 rate of $155 per day.
Required Qualifications
- Assumes authority, in the absence of a physician, for the care of a student or staff member who has suffered an injury or emergency illness.
- Administers first aid in accordance with established first aid procedures.
