Job Summary
Administer medical assistance and first aid to students according to school health program procedures. Perform routine counseling services and refer students and parents to community agencies as appropriate. Maintain student health records and report to the assigned Principal. Requires a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in nursing with one to two years of experience, preferably in an educational setting, plus state licensure, CPR and First Aid certifications, and a valid driver's license. Applications accepted until filled.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in nursing
- one to two years of nursing experience
- nursing experience in an educational setting
- equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
- license to practice nursing in the state of South Carolina
- CPR and First Aid certifications
- valid state driver's license
