Substitute School Nurse - 26/27

Develop and implement school health policies while maintaining accurate records and managing resources for student services. Assess student health and development status through screenings, identify conditions impacting learning, and control disease outbreaks to ensure a safe environment. Provide emergency care, administer medications, and conduct crisis interventions for students, families, and staff. Consult with administration and parents to address health needs, initiate referrals, and serve as a liaison among school, home, and community. Act as a resource for faculty in health curriculum planning and provide counseling to individuals and groups. Train and supervise non-licensed personnel administering medications and other services.
