Job Summary
The Substitute School-Based Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) supports continuity of care for students by working one-on-one in a public school setting in the absence of the assigned BHP. Responsibilities include fostering a therapeutic learning environment for students with developmental, mental health, and co-occurring disorders using evidence-based practices. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, and ideally possess Ed Tech II or III qualifications. Experience working with children and a valid driver’s license is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience (paid or volunteer) working with children; experience with the special needs population preferred.
- Valid driver's license with current auto insurance and use of a reliable vehicle.
Desired Qualifications
- Ed Tech II or III
