Substitute Preschool Teacher

Follow the scheduled curriculum and implement learning experiences that advance children's intellectual, physical, and literacy readiness. Establish a safe, healthy environment while maintaining required adult-child ratios and supervising 14 to 20 children aged 3 to 4. Support social-emotional development using positive guidance approaches and encourage family involvement in the Head Start program. Collaborate with a partner teacher to ensure successful classroom operations and adhere to all health, safety, and nutrition policies. Report on time and communicate proactively with the Center Director regarding schedule changes. Participate in required meetings, events, and training. This "as needed" substitute role supports Acelero Learning's mission to eliminate achievement gaps for young children and their families.
