Job Summary
As a Substitute Preschool Teacher with Acelero Learning, you will work with lead teachers in Head Start classrooms to support the social and emotional development of young children, using positive guidance to address challenging behaviors. You will help engage and involve families, follow health, safety, and nutrition procedures, and assist with everyday center operations. A collaborative, inclusive team environment and opportunities for growth accompany this on-call, part-time role that contributes to closing achievement gaps by supporting children and families in our programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Substitute Certification Preferred
- Associates Degree or Bachelor’s Degree
- Effective communication and written skills
