Job Summary
The Personalized Learning Teacher supports students in achieving educational goals in an independent study environment, developing personalized educational plans, evaluating student progress, and ensuring compliance with academic standards. Essential responsibilities include maintaining documentation, conducting meetings with students and parents, advising on educational opportunities, participating in mandatory trainings, and supporting various student needs. Qualifications include a valid California teaching credential and English Language Authorization. Experience in independent study is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and current California state teaching credential
- English Language Authorization
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of successful teaching experience in the classroom setting (preferred)
- Experience in a homeschool/independent study model (highly desirable)
Additional Requirements
- State and federal fingerprint clearance (LiveScan) required
- Proof of a clear TB test or signed certificate of completion dated within the last 60 days required
- Hold and maintain a valid California Driver’s License and proof of automobile insurance
