Job Summary
On-call Substitute Teacher for mixed-age Montessori classrooms (ages 0–6), stepping into classrooms as needed to support daily routines and activities, helping maintain a calm, warm, and engaging environment. Collaborates with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care; opportunity to progress toward full-time Assistant Teacher within Guidepost Montessori. Hours vary by school needs; ideal for flexible or supplemental part-time work. No formal Montessori training required; training provided during orientation and onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months
- Valid state background check
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor
- Passion for working with young children
