Job Summary
Substitute Paraeducator pool assignment requiring on-call availability in a district-wide program for special education support. Responsibilities include assisting certificated staff under supervision to support students with a variety of needs; supervise and instruct students, contribute to behavioral and adaptive skills development; participate in required trainings and clearances (fingerprint, TB, drug screening) and mandatory online safety training. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and either an associate or higher degree, or 60 semester/90 quarter units, or passage of district proficiency exam. Training and pre-employment clearances are required prior to employment; on-boarding involves live scan fingerprinting and background checks. Location: Perris, California; on-call/part-time schedule; district-wide opportunities with on-site responsibilities in classrooms and supervision of students in accordance with special education classifications (RSP/SDC, SH, SC).
