Job Summary
Substitute Nurse needed to provide professional nursing services in a school setting. Responsibilities include supervising health duties delegated to health associates and staff, delivering the standard of care for student health conditions, ensuring compliance with federal/state/local codes, coordinating care, and maintaining a reliable attendance record. Must be able to perform assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of student health needs, communicate effectively with staff, students, parents, and the community, and operate office equipment and district health systems. Qualifications include RN or BSN and Iowa RN license; school or community nursing experience preferred. Employment is part-time in Urbandale School District with daily rate details provided.
