Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care and support to students under the supervision of licensed staff across the Ocean City School District. Maintain current CPR/AED certification and ensure all students receive necessary medical attention during school hours. Complete required background clearance and verify New Jersey residency as mandated by state law. This role requires a valid New Jersey Teaching or Substitute Teacher certificate, or eligibility to obtain a nursing license.
Required Qualifications
- New Jersey Teaching Certificate
- Valid New Jersey Substitute Teacher Certificate (County Certified)
- eligibility to obtain Valid New Jersey Nursing License
- Current CPR/AED Certification
- Criminal History background clearance
- Proof of New Jersey Residency per New Jersey First Act, N.J.S.A. 52:14-7 (L. 2011, Chapter 70)
