Substitute Nurse- LPN (2026-2027)

Assess student health, counsel families on issues, and maintain accurate records for MDPH and school reports. Administer medications with consent, perform emergency care for injuries or illness, and conduct mandated screenings for vision, hearing, scoliosis, and TB. Coordinate health resources across agencies, develop individual care plans, and implement disease prevention programs including immunizations. Provide sport physical clearance coverage as needed and collaborate with school and health center staff. Initiate and promote health education initiatives while acting as a resource for students and parents.
