Job Summary
Provide temporary school nursing coverage to ensure continuity of care, managing chronic student conditions and supporting health and social needs throughout the day. Deliver assessment and medical care for injuries or illnesses, maintain electronic health records and medication logs, and integrate health education into daily practice. Teach health promotion and disease prevention while identifying individual needs for counseling with students, staff, and parents. Requires a valid Massachusetts RN or LPN license, CPR/AED certification, and at least one year of pediatric or urgent care experience. Daily rate is $273.00.
Required Qualifications
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in Massachusetts
- Current certification in CPR/AED
- Must hold an RN or LPN license
- CPR/AED certified
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year Pediatric and/or Urgent care experience preferred
- Prior school nurse experience preferred
