Job Summary
Operates school vans and cars safely under all weather conditions to transport students and authorized persons on regular and special programs; requires a Washington State driver’s license, CPR/first aid qualifications, five years of licensed driving experience, and completion of district training for Non-CDL drivers. Responsibilities include assisting students during entry/exit, maintaining vehicle safety and cleanliness, completing forms and route sheets, and adhering to district policies and the collective bargaining agreement.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Washington State driver’s license
- Five (5) years of experience as a licensed driver
- Obtain and maintain CPR and first aid qualifications
- Successful completion of District Training Course for Non-CDL Drivers
- I-9 employment eligibility
- Fingerprint clearance
- HIV/HBV training (within 60 days)
- OSPI Bus Driver Handbook compliance
