Job Summary
Follow the regular teacher's lesson plans, assign classwork and homework, and evaluate student progress to ensure consistency within learning. Maintain and manage classroom behavior in a positive environment while supervising students out of class in hallways and the cafeteria. Communicate effectively with other faculty members and comply with all school policies and operating procedures. Complete the interview process and background check to accept substitute positions needed the day they are required or scheduled ahead of time.
Required Qualifications
- Classroom experience
- Able to perform light physical work such as walking students to different location in the school and standing for extended periods of time
- Available to accept a substitute position the day one is needed and/or accept jobs if scheduled ahead of time
- Complete interview process as well as background check
Desired Qualifications
- College degree preferred, preferably in education, child-centered, or related field
