Substitute Laborer

Conduct machine and manual floor scrubbing, carpet shampooing, waxing, and buffing. Perform snow shoveling, mowing, trimming, edging grass, weeding, raking, lawn repair, and cleaning walks and parking lots. Mop floors in cafeterias, kitchens, locker rooms, and lavatories. Execute general cleaning tasks including sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, glass cleaning, and wall washing. Handle stock, replenish supplies, and replace light bulbs. Assist a custodian in situations requiring two people for safety or heavy work. Maintain regular daily attendance while demonstrating physical strength to lift and carry heavy items. Operate all custodial equipment, including power tools, and ensure cleaning standards meet supervisor or district requirements. Possess good vision and social skills to work effectively in a team environment.
