Job Summary
Substitute Instructor responsible for adequately preparing for classroom instruction, keeping students motivated, maintaining discipline, maintaining accurate student records, adhering to guidelines, developing corrective action plans for students with deficiencies, monitoring GED-related statistics, and developing instructional plans using TABE diagnostics for students not meeting requirements. Requires a Bachelor's Degree and/or eligibility for temporary teaching certification in the state of placement. Emphasis on outreach to workforce development, education services, and compliance with EEO guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possession of, or eligibility for, temporary teaching certification in the State in which the center is located
