Job Summary
Serve food and beverages to guests in Marriott's dining environment, including setting tables according to event type, answering questions on menu selections, communicating with the kitchen about menu questions and special requests, and processing payments via MICROS. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, complete closing duties, and ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating service needs, presenting accurate checks, and adhering to safety policies. Develop positive working relationships with team members, follow company standards and safety training, and demonstrate professional communication. Physical tasks include standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds (up to 50 pounds with assistance), and navigating stairs and varied surfaces. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related work experience; no supervisory experience required.
