Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities, ensure student safety and well-being, and monitor children's progress while maintaining a harmonious environment for students and staff. Maintain continuity in educational programs during regular teacher absences by demonstrating flexibility, patience, and genuine engagement with young children. This on-call role requires a Bachelor's degree in education or related field, experience with Pre K through 8th grade, and strong classroom management skills. Competitive pay ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Experience working with Pre K through 8th gr
- Thorough understanding of pedagogy and best practices in education
- Strong supervisory, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in stressful situations
- Proven ability to take initiative to better support student learning/growth
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
