Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities and ensure the safety and well-being of Pre K through 8th grade students during regular teacher absences. Monitor individual progress, foster a harmonious classroom environment, and apply strong classroom management skills to support student growth. Maintain professionalism in stressful situations while utilizing standard office equipment like laptops and tablets. This on-call role requires flexibility and a genuine love for working with children, offering competitive pay between $20.00 and $24.00 per hour. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Experience working with Pre K through 8th gr
- Thorough understanding of pedagogy and best practices in education
- Strong supervisory, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in stressful situations
- Proven ability to take initiative to better support student learning/growth
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
