Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities, ensure student safety, monitor progress, and foster a harmonious environment for Pre K through 8th graders while maintaining program continuity during regular teacher absences. This on-call role requires flexibility, patience, and strong classroom management skills to support student growth and development. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to use standard office equipment and maintain professionalism in stressful situations. We offer competitive pay ranging from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour with opportunities for advancement within the Endeavor Schools family.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Experience working with Pre K through 8th gr
- Thorough understanding of pedagogy and best practices in education
- Strong supervisory, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in stressful situations
- Proven ability to take initiative to better support student learning/growth
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
