Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities and ensure the safety and well-being of children during the absence of regular teachers. Monitor student progress and development while fostering a harmonious environment where students and staff can thrive. Maintain professionalism and tact in stressful situations, utilizing standard office equipment to support student learning and growth. This on-call role requires flexibility, patience, and a genuine love for working with young children from Pre-K through 8th grade. You must hold a Bachelor's degree in education or a related field with a thorough understanding of pedagogy and best practices in education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Experience working with Pre K through 8th gr
- Thorough understanding of pedagogy and best practices in education
- Strong supervisory, leadership, and classroom management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to maintain professionalism and tact in stressful situations
- Proven ability to take initiative to better support student learning/growth
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
