Job Summary
Conduct cleaning and minor servicing duties at schools, administrative support buildings, and grounds using regular and mechanical equipment. Perform tasks including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing floors, walls, and ceilings, replacing lamps, making small furniture repairs, mowing, trimming grass, and snow removal as required. Execute all custodial work in accordance with standard institutional housekeeping practices and complete any other tasks assigned by the supervisor. Shifts may occur day or night. Requires a high school diploma or GED and up to three months of institutional housekeeping experience.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of arithmetic, spelling, English, and grammar
- Accuracy in checking and counting
- Basic skills knowledge
- Equivalent to high school diploma
- GED
- Minimum of up to three months experience
- One year of experience in general institutional housekeeping
- Equivalent combination of training and experience
