Job Summary
Maintain a clean working environment for students, staff, and visitors by completing cleaning tasks according to required safety processes. Operate maintenance equipment including snow plows, salt spreaders, hydraulic lifts, and various hand tools while interpreting Safety Data Sheets. Ensure all areas remain safe to support the district's mission and vision. This role requires a high school diploma, knowledge of custodial techniques, and strong interpersonal skills. Applicants must pass a criminal background check and hold a valid Ohio Driver's License. Salary is $18.00 for 1st and 2nd shift positions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrates knowledge of proper cleaning and other custodial techniques
- Demonstrates ability to operate maintenance equipment (snow plow, salt spreader, hydraulic lift and various hand tools)
- Demonstrates ability to interpret and communicate information found on Safety Data Sheets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and technology skills
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Hold a valid Ohio Driver's License
