Job Summary
Provide temporary coverage as a school counselor across Elementary to High School levels; implement the District's instructional program and educational philosophy in the designated subject area or grade level; requires ongoing, regular attendance; includes responsibilities to support counseling procedures, student appraisal, career development, and to present information to students, parents, and staff; requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills and proficiency with technology (Microsoft applications); leads one-on-one, small group, and large group sessions; position is temporary with daily rates listed for each level; campus locations are TBD.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a related field
- Valid Texas certification in school counseling
- Minimum of two (2) years of successful classroom teaching experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of counseling experience
