Substitute Cook/Baker

Prepare, cook, bake, and serve a variety of foods in quantity at assigned school sites, including rolls, breads, main dishes, and special event meals. Monitor food and water temperatures to ensure safety standards, adjust recipes as needed, and maintain strict sanitation protocols for equipment and facilities. Operate standard kitchen equipment such as mixers, fryers, and dishwashers while training and directing other staff. Record food sales, manage inventory, and maintain routine records of cooked and leftover items. Assist in storing supplies, disposing of unusable leftovers, and collecting change during lunch service.
