Job Summary
Document daily clinic visits, immunization information, and medical data in student electronic records while completing accident forms for injured students. Provide first aid to ill and injured students under the direction of the campus nurse or principal, and assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment. Perform other related duties assigned by the Director of Health Services, Campus Principal, or supervising nurse, including moving classroom equipment and maintaining emotional control under stress. Maintain current CPR and first aid certification. Requires high school graduation, 48 college credits or equivalent, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Salary is $85.00/day.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of high school graduation/GED or certificate of equivalency
- Ability to speak, read, and understand the English language
- Physically able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Maintain current certification in CPR and first aid
- 48 hours of college credits OR Associate or higher degree OR Competency on the CFISD proficiency test (score of 70 or above)
- Regular and reliable attendance
