Job Summary
Assist with supervising children at all times, including during teacher absences, while ensuring a safe environment and proper hygiene standards. Provide supervision and support daily activities, routines, and center operations, adapting to changes in classroom structure. Serve lunch, model table manners, and lead small groups when assigned, all while completing required documentation for compliance and attendance. Maintain a pleasant meal atmosphere and participate in team-based early childhood education efforts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 months directly related paid or volunteer experience
- CPR and First Aide Certification(s)
- desire to work with low income children and families
- ability to work well with pre-schoolers and their parents
- ability to work well in a team-teaching atmosphere
