Job Summary
Operate a school bus on assigned routes transporting students to and from school classes and special activities. Check the vehicle before each run to ensure proper operation and perform minor maintenance tasks, including gas, oil, and battery checks. Maintain order with students and report unusual occurrences such as behavior problems or vehicle malfunctions. Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with a Passenger endorsement and be at least 21 years old. This substitute position requires no prior experience and offers flexible scheduling for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- at least twenty-one (21) years of age
- Possession of a valid Commercial Drivers License-Class B with Passenger (P) endorsement issued by the State of New York at the time of appointment
