Substitute Bus Aide

Assist students with boarding, seating, and exiting the bus safely while ensuring seat belts and safety equipment are properly used. Monitor student behavior to maintain order and provide immediate assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs. Communicate any concerns or incidents to the bus driver and school staff throughout the route. This role requires a reliable, patient, and safety-focused individual with the ability to remain calm in emergency situations. Applicants must meet Chautauqua County Civil Service requirements. Experience working with children or those with special needs is a plus.
