Job Summary
Direct and manage instructional program and supervise operations and personnel at campus level. Provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service. Oversee compliance with district policies, success of instructional programs, and operation of all campus activities. Monitor the implementation of the curriculum through various methods including walk through observations and teacher evaluations. Monitor instructional and managerial processes to ensure the program activities are related to program outcomes and use findings to take corrective actions. Develop and promote a positive school climate; provide resources and professional development to staff; supervise budgeting, personnel, and campus facilities; communicate with superintendent, staff, students, parents, and community to support student achievement and school improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in educational administration/field of certification
- Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate
- 5 years experience as a classroom teacher
- 2 to 3 years experience in instructional leadership roles
- Strong organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
