Job Summary
Senior Substation Engineer responsible for configuring and producing engineering drawings for installation and commissioning of electro-mechanical and microprocessor protection relay systems in high voltage substations; generate one-line, three-line, schematic and wiring diagrams for 4.16 kV–500 kV substations; mentor less experienced staff; anticipate occasional travel; requires BSEE and 5+ years in power system protection and control; strong communication and leadership abilities.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE
- 5+ years of experience specifying, configuring and producing engineering drawings for installation and commissioning of electro-mechanical and microprocessor type protection relay systems in high voltage substations
- extensive background in power system protection and control
- proven experience managing a team
- excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and writing skills
- must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B) now or in the future
