Job Summary

Substation Protection & Control Designer (REMOTE) responsible for design and preparation of Substation Relay One Lines, Three Lines, AC/DC Schematics, Substation Panel Layouts, Wiring Diagrams and Cable Schedules, SCADA and Communication Diagrams, and Point-to-Point Wiring Diagrams. Collaborates with physical, settings, and drafting disciplines; ensures QA/QC per client standards; utilizes Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and MicroStation; applies NEC, NESC, IEEE and ANSI standards; emphasizes continuous professional development and high-quality engineering services for high-voltage substations (12kV–500kV); role supports flexible workplace arrangements and nationwide remote capability in the US.
