Substation Protection and Control Engineering Associate I

Job Summary
Conduct protection and control design for medium and high voltage substations using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite. Collaborate with experienced mentors to learn modern microprocessor relay protection, SCADA systems, and fiber optic communication protocols for utilities across the southern United States. Perform onsite inspections at utility customer stations and attend meetings, including some overnight travel to the southeastern U.S. Maintain detailed documentation and demonstrate strong communication skills within a team-oriented environment. This entry-level role offers hybrid work options after proficiency is achieved and supports candidates pursuing PE licensure.
Required Qualifications
