Job Summary
Lead a team of engineers and technical specialists to execute renewable generation substation projects from conception through construction and commissioning, including developing work plans, schedules, estimates, and status reports; coordinate site acquisition, design updates, data and permits, and risk mitigation; frequent cross-group collaboration and client communications; travel within North America to multiple substations; required credentials include PE and Six Sigma certifications, Bachelor's in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil-Structural engineering, and 4+ years of substation design/engineering experience; contract role with remote work option.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
- Six Sigma Black Belt
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil/Structural engineering
- 4+ years' experience in Substation design and engineering of High Voltage substation projects
- PMP and/or P.E. in related discipline
