Job Summary
Mentor junior engineers and CAD designers on General/Physical Layout and Protection & Control packages for renewables and substation design projects. Act as the sealing engineer for team deliverables while leading engineering efforts in substation design, utility interconnections, physical layout, protection/control/SCADA design, relay settings, field support, commissioning, and relay testing. Perform and oversee engineering calculations, project design, and drawing reviews to ensure quality and accuracy. Prepare and review project documents, including specifications and bid packages, while serving as the primary point of contact for clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction. Requires a PE license, 4-9 years of experience, and proficiency with industry-standard engineering software.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 4-9 years of experience in substation or renewable energy engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong understanding of protection and control design, relay settings, and commissioning
- Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with industry-standard engineering software and Microsoft Office tools
