Job Summary
Perform engineering design, analysis, and review across substation deliverables including general arrangements, grounding plans, conduit routing, one-line diagrams, and equipment specifications. Execute engineering calculations for bus sizing, duty checks, and voltage drop while ensuring compliance with NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards. Manage deliverables and deadlines for internal QA/QC and external client submissions, providing technical leadership for scope, budget, and design execution. Mentor junior engineers, develop go-bys and technical standards, and review contractor submittals for compliance. Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience; FE/PE licensure preferred. Based in Lakewood, CO with 15-25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institute
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
- Possesses effective written and oral communications skills
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to mentor others
