The Substation Physical Engineer will design, check, and oversee deliverables for substation physical design projects, including General Arrangements, Control House Layouts, and Grounding layouts using AutoCAD. Responsibilities include ensuring project accuracy, meeting schedules and budgets, mentoring junior staff, and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and over 4 years of relevant experience, with a strong focus on detail and quality assurance.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in engineering design and oversight
- Knowledge of national standards for substation design
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and designers
