Substation Physical Designer

Lead the design process on complex substation projects to ensure all design solutions meet client needs, quality standards, and project goals. Prepare and review design documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and other technical documents for accuracy, compliance, and feasibility. Maintain project documentation including scoping documents, design inputs, quality checklists, and project filing systems. Oversee scope and quality review processes to ensure adherence to client specifications and high-quality standards. Proactively monitor and resolve technical issues throughout the project lifecycle while managing time effectively to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Apply industry-standard design practices, codes, and regulations across large, complex power delivery projects. Communicate and coordinate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams. Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD to support design deliverables.
