Job Summary
Lead projects of moderate to large size by applying technical expertise to develop new or improved techniques, procedures, and standards. Provide field engineering oversight for activities including support, testing, installation, inspections, and commissioning while coordinating design, equipment selection, procurement, and regulatory matters. Act as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects, representing the organization in bid evaluations and interacting with senior external personnel. Direct engineers, technicians, and support staff by assigning tasks, reviewing work assignments, and providing guidance on critical issues and policy matters. Manage project budgets, estimating, forecasting, and work order management while mentoring less experienced engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from ABET accredited curriculum
- 5+ years relevant engineering experience with EIT/FE (Engineer in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering) required
- 7+ years relevant engineering experience without EIT/FE
- Ability to demonstrate the unique technical skills and core competencies for this engineering level established & documented by the organization
- PE (Professional Engineer) registration required
- 15+ years relevant engineering experience without PE
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred PE (Professional Engineer) registration may be required depending on business need
