Job Summary
The role involves engineering responsibilities within substation design and electrical project engineering at GE Grid Solutions. Candidates will focus on Transmission & Distribution substation engineering for electric utilities and renewable energy projects. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required, with a preference for Electrical Engineering. The position requires relevant experience in substation applications and the ability to travel internationally up to 20%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Experience in Transmission & Distribution substation engineering for electric utilities and renewable energy power plants/projects
- Experience as an Electrical Project Engineer in substation-type applications, including primary (outdoor) substation design and required studies
- Willingness/ability to travel 20%, including international travel
